Silk – a beautiful and delicate fabric only suitable for formal areas.
Cotton – depending on the weave, cotton blends tend to be sturdy and family friendly fabrics.
Damask – a fabric woven to achieve a tone-on-tone effect. It is best suited for upholstery and drapery.
Linen – offers a great and fresh look. They can be used anywhere in the home.
Chenille and Velvet – soft feel and very durable. These have been a standard for centuries.
Leather – perhaps the best all-around upholstery fabric. They come in many colors and finish’s and are easy to clean.
Vinyl – a practical choice for busy family rooms and children’s furniture. Outdoor use as well.
Nylon – one of the strongest materials, used in heavily used areas.
Tapestry – old world style that can be used for an English, Formal or Country look and works well on upholstered furniture. They have also been a standard for centuries.
Stripes – suitable for upholstery, drapery or pillows. You will see stripes used often on dinning chairs.
Crypton – stain-resistant fabric that is virtually indestructible. It is often used to the health care industry.
Sunbrella – polyester or acrylic fabric blends, primarily made for outdoor use. Newer weaves have a soft feel and designer look that works well indoors or outdoors. This fabric can be cleaned with a light bleach cleaning mixture.
